After tapping into the ALDI Nord online marketplace, Medion AG wanted to establish a link between the new marketplace and their internal database system. For optimal development and integration, they turned to i-ways. The objective of the project was to develop a data interface between ALDI Nord and SAP that would transmit order data and status notifications as well as order and item information between these two platforms.

i-ways also developed a suitable user interface that was linked to the back end, simplifying management and making it easy for users to access the data. i-ways also established user management and permissions management to increase system security. The interface was designed for efficient integration of any digital marketplaces that might be added in the future.
